BIRMINGHAM'S ONLINE MEDIEVAL RESOURCES

• The Birmingham Museum of Art is the finest art museum in the South! It has several rooms devoted to the Kress Collection of art, arms and armor from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Their Japanese exhibits include several fabulous suits of period armor.
• Visit the Birmingham Public Library homepage to find the nearest branch, then try their online catalog to help you with your research.
• UAB's Sterne Library also has an online catalog. Be sure to see their fantastic special collections section, which includes many period manuscripts!
• UAB's Lister Hill Medical Library, also on the UAB campus, houses the the Reynolds Historical Library Collection, a nationally respected collection of rare and important books and artifacts, particularly those related to medical science, dating back to the Middle Ages. The collection is one section of UAB's Historical Collections.
